Huawei Australia Branch issued a tweet saying: We have been informed by the Australian government that Huawei and ZTE have been banned from providing 5G technology to Australia. This is a very disappointing result for consumers. Huawei is the world leader in 5G and has been providing wireless technology safely and reliably in Australia for nearly 15 years.
